Sense of Place

EXHIBITION was on view from September 1 to October 31, 2021. Tour our Virtual Exhibition which was donated by NOA Gallery.

“Sense of Place” is a themed project sponsored by GHC bringing together an extended group of talented people in our area in order to each create an inspired piece of art that is related to this theme. The J. D. Poor murals at the Groton Inn, the recently acquired carved birds by Harvey Sargisson, and our current exhibit of portraits in our collection all suggest our connection to the arts from the past. Our goal is to capture a glimpse of the arts in the 2020s looking back to the future.
